LSTN UP:

Beck's got a new b-side floating around and this one's our favorite kind of Beck, lazy acoustic.  Check it out below.

Get 'Em While They're Hot!

Freshly pressed from the Airbag Manufactory, our "best of 2008" mix CD's have just arrived.  We promised these awhile back, but remember there was a catch with this one.  If you're looking to get your hands on one of these gems, you've gotta let us know what you dug in 2008.  We know that 2008 was like so long ago, so as a way to refresh your memory, we recommend you check out our thoughts here.  Remember, you are what you share, so let the commenting begin!

DWNLD TH!S:

Great song from Tahiti Boy & The Palmtree Family called "That Song."  Don't know too much about the band but we do know that this one's got Tunde Adebimpe from TV On The Radio guesting on it.  Definitely worth grabbing.  If you like what you hear, the band will have an EP out March 30th for your listening enjoyment.

Yeah X 3!

More in the 'forthcoming album and album cover revealed' category: Yeah Yeah Yeahs finally return this April with It's Blitz.  This'll be the band's third full-length album, and if its a winner, it'll pretty much place them in the top ten band's of all time list.  PS Sonic Youth are on that list too, but who care's about the Youth right now?  Gimme some Karen O!  Album artwork below:

Youth Springs Eternal

We love winter, but right now we can't wait for summer...  Why?  Because on June 9th Sonic Youth's new album, The Eternal, will finally hit stores.  Yee-ah!  And to top it off the band's got a new deal with Matador.  Check the artwork below:

Quote To Remember: Grammy Edition

"Everything I know about pop culture I know from 'The Simpsons,' and they say the Grammys aren't very good." - Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead

That pretty much sums up last night (except of course for Radiohead's performance of "15 Step" and Paul McCartney getting down on "I Saw Her Standing There.")
