Toyroom (907 K Street) will be hosting a collection of prints by Obey Giant artist Shepard Fairey from September 14 to October 13. The opening receptions will take place Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th from 7pm until late. Obey Giant is a favorite of Airbag Radio, especially the print below, titled "Peace Girl." If you've got time, definitely check out the showing.
Hope you are having a good week. I wanted to give you a heads up that I am going to go to the Co-op on Saturday and get what we need outside of the veggies and such. If you and Monica want to come I would love the company. Maybe after we can check the Toyroom out. Just an idea let me know your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteBy the way did you know that I learned that Travis lives across the ally from Shepard Faireys apartment. Its all artists in those buildings. Awesome! I am going to have to try and meet him.
