D-E-L!

Hip Hoppers Rejoice! Del The Funky Homosapien is baaack! Well, maybe not yet, but he'll be back on February 26th with his long awaited album, The 11th Hour. This will be Del's first full-length work since 2000's critically-acclaimed, instantly classic Deltron 3030 project with Dan The Automator and Kid Koala and his first solo LP since 1999's Both Sides Of The Brain. The much anticipated release has been in the works for a couple of years now and, based on recent singles and compilation tracks, the album is sure to be more than worth the wait. If you're not familiar with Del's name, you may already be familiar with his signature style as his is the voice that delivers one of the illest rhymes of all time with Gorillaz' smash hit "Clint Eastwood." Speaking of Gorillaz, look for a b-sides collection, titled D-Sides (D as in Demon Days), in stores November 20th. As for our main man Del, we're staying up 'til The 11th Hour.
