Back To The Highway

While we eagerly anticipate the release of the Bob Dylan biopic I'm Not There, out November 21st, I thought I'd post some old thoughts on the man that has inspired me so much. This was originally composed for the Fan Stories section on dylan07.com.

I was first introduced to Bob Dylan via the film Don't Look Back. As soon as the ending credits rolled, I ran down to Tower Records to pick up his first Greatest Hits album. I slowly grew from a casual listener to an avid fan. I can honestly say that there is no single musician who is more important to music than Bob Dylan. You could take away everything else in my collection and as long as I still had his albums I'd be happy. Bob Dylan is hands down, the Beginning and the End of Rock & Roll.
